Re-loved Apparel struts the runway

Conventional Clothing Is So Last Season

On Saturday the 25th of November 2023, Re-loved Apparel made its debut on the runway at the 2023 HUXNBOSS Model Search, presented by the Australian Fashion Federation.

The fashion show took place at the Imperial Hotel on the Gold Coast, creating a lively and memorable night.

Legendary judges and designers graced the event, including sustainable designer Kimbralou, known for crafting unconventional designs and repurposing current and historical fashion pieces to minimise end-of-line textile waste.

We were super excited to have the opportunity to show our fusion of sustainability and fashion and meet some like-minded people.

The runway featured Pierro Kon (on the left) walking our Kanye Quilted rPET Carry bag with the Re-loved signature “Make Love Not Rubbish” DTF logo, illustrating the bag’s versatility and ability to be printed in various colours. When it comes to sustainability and our planet, we're all about impactful, straightforward slogans at Re-loved.

Our Re-loved Sand Free Ponchos, are made from the same 380gsm rPET material as our sand free beach towels. Our versatile ponchos not only serve as stylish beach cover-ups but are also incredibly comfortable, doubling as a towel or blanket for lounging on the beach. Complete with a hood for a touch of fun and style.

The striking pink and orange indigenous print (featured on the left) that captivated the runway is the artistic creation of Kamilaroi artist Bianca Gardiner-Dodd.

With cultural connections to Bundjalung (stretching from north-east NSW to south-east Queensland) through her husband and children, Gardiner's art beautifully captures the essence of the coastal environment that surrounds her.

Inspired by the pristine oceans, lush forests, sandy beaches, and expansive parklands, her designs bring a unique touch to the collection.

Seven different coloured versions of this poncho were featured on the runway.

Re-loved Apparel is so happy to be doing our first collaboration with her. The positive reception of her designs on the runway was nothing short of amazing, and we are excited to share this exceptional collaboration with our community who also share a passion for sustainability and supporting indigenous art.
